What is the use case for the BI Connector?

BI connector is a great tool to connect Teamtailor’s data into your Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, the purpose of which is to provide data for quantitative analysis, that shows aggregated numbers over time rather than in-depth qualitative analysis that would focus on specific cases.

The data provided is essentially the same that our Analytics solutions uses for displaying reports. In those cases where you want to enrich that data with external information or create reports that are a bit more complicated and more suited to your needs, it is a great tool to achieve that.

Some valid use cases:

• You would like to enrich Teamtailor’s data with data you have available outside of the platform;
• You would like to have all your reporting done in one platform;
• You would like to create reports that are not possible to create through Teamtailor’s Custom Reports solution.

What is out of scope for BI Connector?

<aside> 📌 The BI connector is not built for Qualitative Insights or data and document extraction in mind, those use cases are not forbidden but are simply not intended or supported by us.

For example: not possible to do an analysis of interview notes, recruitment goals, specific cases and so on, as such data is not available in the BI connector.

While the data provided does contain qualitative information, the intention behind it is not to perform qualitative analysis, extract data for non-analytics use, extract files and other similar information for other purposes. While we do not forbid such uses, we cannot fully support them either, since the tool is not built with that in mind.
